DOVER — A Dover man, who allegedly stole audio equipment from his employer, was caught when the stolen merchandise turned up on Craigslist.
Rodolfo Correra, 35, stole approximately $4,000 worth of audio equipment from Larry McClain, director of Dover Dodge on Blackwell Street, according to a release from Sgt. Richard Gonzalez.
Correra sold an Alpine digital amplifier to a third party for $100, Gonzalez said. That buyer then tried to resell the item on Craigslist.
McCalin saw the amplifier online and believed it was his. He called police and they questioned Correra, who admitted to stealing from his employer, Gonzalez said.
Correra was charged with theft and released.
