Ashley Picone, 22, was managing transactions at a dentist's office on Route 46, according to a press release from officer Eric Anthony.
Picone allegedly stole $15,000 in cash over a five-month period, police said.
She would improperly log receipts and steal cash paid by customers, the release said.
She was charged with theft of movable property and released on her own recognizance pending a court appearance.
