NEWARK — A New Brunswick man was found dead in a burning car early this morning after he had been shot multiple times, authorities said.
Firefighters rushed to extinguish a blazing 2007 Chevy Impala on Rose Street when they discovered Chad Butler, 39, shortly after 2 a.m., said Katherine Carter, the Essex County Prosecutor's Office spokeswoman.
No suspects have been arrested in connection with the homicide, Carter said.
