The victim, identified as Danny Uleridora, a Hispanic male who is 23 years old, was shot once inside a vehicle on Delavan Avenue and North 6th Street at 11:45 a.m., said Thomas Fennelly, Essex County's Chief Assistant Prosecutor.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have yet to determine a suspect or motive in the slaying.
