FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP — A Freehold Borough man pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated in a May crash that claimed the life of his father, a passenger in the car at the time, according to a report on APP.com.
The blood alcohol level of Samuel Perez-Ramirez, 40, was three times the legal limit, the report said. When he failed to stop at a stop sign he collided with a car and his father was ejected, according to the report.
The driver of the other car suffered minor injuries. Perez-Ramirez pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide, assault by auto and driving while intoxicated.
