PATERSON — An 18-year-old Paterson man was fatally shot Tuesday night, according to a report on NorthJersey.com

Nyjavar Jackson was found a on a sidewalk on Arch Street shortly after 11 p.m. Tuesday. His mother's boyfriend was shot to death last month following an argument at a block party for National Night Out, the report said.

There have been 12 homicide victims in Paterson this year. Thirteen were recorded in 2009, according to NorthJersey.com.
