More than six police vehicles were sitting in the parking lot of the PNC Bank on Bordentown Avenue just north of Cheesequake Road following the hold-up that occurred about 9:30 a.m.
Yellow police tape was stretched across the two driveways leading to the parking lot.
Police said nobody was injured, but no other details were immediately available.
