Jack, a Labrador mix, is expected to fully recover
MIDDLETOWN — A dog allegedly tossed off a bridge by its owner's ex-boyfriend is expected to recover, according to a report on APP.com.
William E. Deppisch, 23, of the Belford section of Middletown is accused of taking the five-month old Labrador mix to the Henry Hudson Trail and throwing it into a bed creek following a dispute with the woman in Holmdel, the report said.
The dog, named Jack, fell 15 to 20 feet. He was taken to the Red Bank Animal Hospital after a Holmdel police officer retrieved him.
