Authorities are searching for a man who robbed the Relish Food Mart at 2013 Route 27 South in Somerset. FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP (Somerset County) — Authorities are searching for a man who robbed a Route 27 convenience store at gunpoint Friday night, Somerset County Prosecutor Geoffrey Soriano said.
The robbery occurred at the Relish Food Mart around 8 p.m., Soriano said, and the suspect fled in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect, who was armed with a handgun, wore a blue-hooded sweatshirt and is about 20 years old, Soriano said.
