CLIFFSIDE PARK — Authorities in northern New Jersey say two arrests have been made in the killing of a man whose dismembered body was found near his home in Cliffside Park.
Bergen County Prosecutor John Molinelli said 33-year-old Pedro Garcia and 34-year-old Wilfredo Sanchez, both of Cliffside Park, were arrested late today.
They're being held in the killing of 46-year-old restaurant worker Francisco Gonzalez Fuentes.
The arrests came a day after police found parts of Gonzalez Fuentes' body at two locations near the apartment he shared with Garcia.
Relatives and neighbors of the victim told The Record of Woodland Park that Garcia and Gonzalez Fuentes were involved in a volatile relationship.
It was not known if the suspects had retained lawyers.
