Early Saturday, the Ringwood Fire Department responded to reports of a car fire while fire fighters in Wanaque had three separate car blazes on their hands. Most of the cars were already engulfed by the time responders arrived.

On Thursday, vandals broke 29 mailboxes and used six of them to smash vehicle windows.
